Greg Henry

Greg is one of the lead/rhythm guitar players for "Recover". He is originally from California, but was raised in Virginia, USA.

His musical  influences include his cousin, the great "Paul Murphy", who played most recently in the Rockabilly band, "Far Less Ladylike Tendencies", in the Los Angeles gig circuit. Other influential guitarists were Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Alex Lifeson, Eddie Van Halen, and many others. His style is heavily influenced by these guitarists as well as many Country Western and Southern Rock artists.

Greg nurtured and developed his style as a guitarist, playing in Hard Rock bands from the late 70's to the mid 80's. As a founding member of “Recover”, he was influential in its formation and is a strong stimulus with regard to the band’s musical horizons, always wanting to explore and perform new areas of music.

Greg enjoys playing Rock, Country, and Blues from the 60's with an emphasis on songs from the late 80's up to today's "Hits".
