FAQ'S

In one word, Yes!   "Recover's" performances will always be better than recorded music, simply because live energy and showmanship cannot be put into an audio recording!

"Recover" performs mainly at private events. Most of our clients, as I’m sure you can imagine, prefer not to have uninvited guests at their events, but there's no harm in asking.

You can book "Recover" for all indoor and outdoor events which will have approximately 50 to 200 guests. "Recover's" performances are ideal for weddings, parties, corporate events, or for any "happenings" that require a great atmosphere and lively music.

Yes, "Recover" has it's own PA equipment that is suitable for crowds up to 200 people. The use of our equipment is included in the price. If additional PA or lighting equipment is requested or needed, then there will be an additional charge depending on the rental fees.

You will need to check with the venue to see if they are able to accommodate a live band. "Recover" can perform at both indoor and outdoor venues, but this should be confirmed with the venue before proceeding with the booking. The main points to consider when having live music is the stage area, (at least a minimum of 10 meters by 3 meters), the actual stage itself (ideally a permanent hard floor stage, otherwise temporary staging could be used), and electricity access (preferably 3 phased and with proper grounding as power points and extension cables will be required for electrical equipment). All of this should be discussed with the venue prior to booking.

The standard compensation will include the use of our PA system, travel expenses within the local area of the band, (within 20-30 miles), and standard set lengths, (2 x 45 minute sets, performed between the hours of 8:00pm to 1:00am). A premium is charged for performances that continue after 1:00 am. Other costs may be incurred if we are required to stay longer than our usual performance length, or if an additional set of music is requested.  Please bear in mind that the members of "Recover" are not professional musicians and therefore do not make their living in the entertainment industry, hence the price you pay will be very competitive with market prices. "Recover" spends a lot of time preparing for your event – rehearsing, loading equipment, traveling, setting up equipment, the performance itself, then packing up and getting home again. The money you spend for your event will be wisely spent! We are very accommodating, so please don't hesitate to ask us for any other options prior to booking.

"Recover" normally requires at least two hours to set up their equipment and change prior to the event. The more time available for set up and sound check the better, but two hours is a good estimate.

"Recover" performs 2 sets, usually lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour each, with a 15 to 20 minute break between sets.

"Recover" is able to accommodate most timing requests. As a rule of thumb, the longer "Recover" is required to be at the venue, and the later the event finishes, the more expensive it will be.

"Recover" will be away from home for the whole evening, and an average event that involves a certain amount of traveling will usually run over 10 hours. For this reason, the band will require refreshments and a light snack during the event in place of meals. These refreshments are provided at the event by the client, as there may not be time for the band to leave in order to purchase refreshments.

We offer you the choice from a set song list that can be provided to you in advance.
